GETTY-LUCE: We need to put everything we've got into this new picture-and-sound transmission system Farnsworth is developing. Think of the money to be made from a wholly original phase in human communication. Think of the power to be had by controlling the content of that funhouse mirror of the world when it's beamed into every home across the nation!
GETTY-LUCE: Pinnacle Pictures' latest project starts shooting this week with the always bankable Richard Dix, reprising his role as The Dark Duster!
GETTY-LUCE: In our new picture, The Seeker, Dix goes deep into Indian territory to rescue his niece, who was kidnapped by Comanches when she was only five. Except, now, she's old enough to become some heathen's squaw! This picture has everything, the superiority of the white race and Christian culture, a paternal hand protecting our womenfolk, and best of all--cowboys!
GETTY-LUCE: I grew up in Brooklyn and never once did I seen a man firing a six-shooter and jumping over a hedge! And I bet neither did any of youse!

BOARD MEMBERS: [Laughter.]

GETTY-LUCE: Even though no one's ever seen a movie-style cowboy on the face of the earth, everybody knows what one is! Not only that, in Texas, no one's ever seen a real, gun-toting cowboy, and everyone thinks they ARE one!

BOARD MEMBERS: [Guffaws and snorting.]
