VERONICA: Say Farnsworth! We're both working on the problem of transmitting pictures via radio waves. Mind if I tag along to your lab, ask a few questions?

PHILCO: My device conveys pictures and words using the ambient radio signals of space and realizes them in the consciousness of the wearer! I'll show you!
VERONICA: The images exploding in my consciousness--amazing, like meditation would be if it worked! But these aggressive and predatory images can't be the background radiation of the cosmos. Either your source or the structure of my own brain imposes a hostile bias on the transmission.
THE PRETTY GUEST MAKES CHANGES, THEN--
PHILCO: You're right--this interpretation of low frequency, cosmic-background waves is much less hostile than my version! I guess that proves my template was biased in some way peculiar to the past experiences and language constructs of our "local" reality.

So where did you get this?
VERONICA: I replaced your algorithm with a different template I recorded from the deepest part of the oceans! The two versions of reality are literally worlds apart!
VERONICA: Since your ultimate goal is communicating pictures to a larger audience, I wonder how long until you can transmit the signal so it can be seen by someone not wearing this fancy schmancy helmet!
